Captains Comments: |

Having been invited to bat by
Bluehouse, home side Great Totham collapsed to 67-5 before a 6th wicket
stand of 107 between S. Mays (57) and S. Pearson (63) followed by a brutal
24 ball 70 n.o. (8 sixes, 2 fours) from D. Bridger, enabled a final score of
300-7 to be reached. Chasing this target, N. Pegg scored 85, Wing 46 and
Lovatt 43 but with all-rounder S. Mays completing a good day by grabbing
5-65 from 11 overs and K. Mays 3-48 from 9 overs the reply finally ended on
248 all out in the 44th over.
With Willow Herbs losing as
well, the relegation battle is still very much alive and Bluehouse need to
win their last game of the season to stay in Division 2 next season. |
