What can be said we won the toss on a hard and dry wicket and were looking to post a big score however some good tight bowling early on from Patrick, Packard and S. Manns reduced the blues to 90-5 off twenty overs and skipper Bill Lovatt finally got some runs scoring 34 and steadied the ship well supported by Andy Mullender who chipped in with 18 but the final total of 186 was never going to be enough.

This was proved to be true as S. Manns demolished the Bluehouse bowling attack scoring an unbeaten 124 ably supported by R. Luthra 48. Herongate rattled of the runs in just 16.2 overs.

All that can now be said was the discussion before the game on who was going to take charge for this fixture come out the right way as Bill called heads and Andy was going to call tails.
