Bluehouse won the toss and elected to bowl on a damp wicket. A tight
opening spell of bowling restricted Margaretting to 59 for 2 of the opening
20 overs, led by Natish Patel (2 for 35). However, some aggressive batting
down the order coupled with a fairly lacklustre bowling meant that
Margaretting were able to reach 204 for 8 at the close. In response
Bluehouse struggled from the start, losing wickets at regular intervals and
