Margaretting won the toss and elected to bat. Despite Bluehouse restricting Margaretting to around 70 runs off the first 20 overs, we were unable to get a breakthrough and consequently Margaretting Batsmen started to hit out and raced on to 282 for 2 at the of their 45 overs. Natish Patel took the only wicket by a bowler and finished with relatively good figures of 1 for 48.

In response Bluehouse struggled against the express pace of Margaretting left arm opening bowler and wickets tumbled rapidly. The inevitable end came in the 34 over with Bluehouse dismissed for 102 runs. Top scorer was Robert Hunt who finished unbeaten on 26 runs.
